1. Round Details
At the top, set your seat wind, the round wind, and who's dealer. These feed the dealer/seat-based bonuses (East Seat/Dealer tile, Wind pongs, etc.) automatically — set them once per round, not per hand.
2. Winning Tile
Fill this in once a hand is actually won. Choose Discard or Self-draw, and tick whichever special conditions apply — Heavenly/Earthly/Human Hand, Seabed, Robbing a Gong, Called Ting. Leave it blank while a hand is still in progress.
3. Enter Type of Hand Played
Leave Mode as "None" for a standard hand (5 melds + pair). Switch it to Nico Nico, 13 Orphans, or 16 Orphans for those special shapes — the tile area below changes to match.
4. Building the Hand
Tap tiles in the Suit/Honor/Flower grids to add them — the app fills your pair first, then melds in order automatically.
- A small × badge appears top-left on any tile you're holding — tap it to remove one copy, right where you added it.
- Tap a completed Pong's tile again to upgrade it to a Gong.
- Tap a tile inside a meld in Your Hand below to remove it from there instead.
- For a Sheung meld, mark which tile completed it (for True/False Single Wait scoring) — tap the tile in Your Hand.
- For Nico Nico, tick Won on the 2, 5, 8 pair if that's how you completed the hand — it can be checked before you even start entering tiles.
5. Confirm & Next Round
Once the score breakdown looks right, tap Confirm & Next Round. It records the score to every player, logs the round, and resets the tile grids so you're ready for the next hand — nothing scrolls automatically.
6. Round Log
Scroll down to see the full history. The ↑ Enter Next Hand / Round Details button jumps you straight back to the Suit Tiles card. Share Final Scores and Report an Error live at the bottom of this section.
7. Quick Actions
For payments that don't come from winning a hand — Triple Dice at wall-break, Chasing Tiles, Concealed Gong, Gong Not Verified, and False Mahjong. Pick the player, tap the button; these apply immediately without ending the round (except False Mahjong, which does).
8. Rules Panel
Switch between the LRC and DXB rulesets, or edit any individual scoring value to match your table's house rules — edits save on this device and apply immediately to every future hand.
